Data changelog

This log records material data refreshes and corrections we applied after publication. The how-to-report process lives on the editorial & corrections policy. Entries are past-tense and tied to repository commits or database metadata; nothing is invented to pad the list. To flag a figure on a specific page, use report a data issue.

    SAM.gov Assistance Listings extract refresh

    Rebuilt the SQLite catalog from the latest SAM.gov Assistance Listings bulk export and re-stamped entity pages with the new extract vintage (_metadata last_upgrade 2026-08-10). Program counts, funding ranges, and agency rollups reflect that release.

    Grant catalog provenance totals derived from live DB

    Replaced hard-coded catalog totals on secondary trust surfaces with SQL-derived counts from the live database so homepage, category, and rankings summaries cannot drift after an extract refresh.

    Dataset CSV citations on browse and research hubs

    Hung the grant-catalog-statistics.csv Dataset schema on leftover /browse/programs, /directory, and noindex /research hubs so journalists can cite the catalog extract with a stable download URL.

    Initial SAM.gov + Grants.gov catalog rebuild

    First production rebuild of the combined Assistance Listings and Grants.gov opportunity pipeline into the PlainGrants SQLite schema (_metadata rebuild_completed 2026-07-10).
