Description
Ladies/Gentlemen: The United States Agency for International Development Mission in the Eastern and Southern Caribbean (USAID/ESC) is making a special call for the submission of Concept Papers for the ConnectEd St. Lucia activity focused on the development of interventions that will improve primary and secondary digital literacy of St. Lucian youth, while building skills in youth that are increasingly sought after in today’s job market. Subject to the availability of funds, USAID/ESC may allocate up to $1,000,000 over the course of two years. The host government may supplement additional funding for this activity and such funding may be discussed during co-design with the apparently successful applicant, if applicable. Eligible organizations interested in submitting a Concept Paper are required to carefully read this APS addendum (See Full Announcement Package in the Related Documents Tab) as well as the full YouthPower APS announcement, which can be found at: https://www.grants.gov/web/grants/view-opportunity.html?oppId=325906 . Eligibility is discussed in Section C of this addendum. This funding opportunity is posted here on www.grants.gov and may be amended. Potential applicants are required to regularly check the website to ensure they have the latest information. Please send any questions to the point(s) of contact identified in section D of this addendum. Note: Only the applicant that passes the concept paper review stage will be asked for a full application. Issuance of this funding opportunity does not constitute an award commitment on the part of the U.S. Government, nor does it commit the U.S. Government to pay for any costs incurred in preparation or submission of comments/suggestions or a concept paper/application. INFORMATION SESSION USAID/ESC will host a conference to interested applicants. The session will provide further information on how to work with USAID for any new partner, offering tips for applying, explaining the co-creation and request of full application processes and answering questions.
