Description
As part of the design of the Local Works Zimbabwe Youth Program, USAID/Zimbabwe isseeking applications from qualified youth-focused local entities to provide program designsupport services as described in this Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO). The selectedlocal entity (the Recipient) will facilitate Zimbabwe’s youth constituency to provide technicalsupport, facilitation and logistical services, and co-design the youth-led Local WorksZimbabwe Youth Program. The Recipient will operate in partnership with local stakeholdersto actively listen and understand the complex dynamics and barriers to youth development inZimbabwe. This will help to identify youth needs and priorities and engage and involve youthin the design and implementation of locally driven response initiatives. Local assets,including youth associations, private sector entities, informal sector associations, non-profitand community-based organizations will be harnessed to inform and participate in thisprocess. Local subject matter experts, youth champions, religious and local leaders will playkey roles to ensure buy-in from communities that have often been divided by politicaldifferences.
