Amendment 1 The purpose of this Amendment to the funding opportunity #72016821RFA00001, Philanthropy Awareness Activity, is to share the Powerpoint presentation from the pre-application conference, publish questions and answers received in response to this NOFO and to amend the NOFO. NOFO The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is seeking applications from qualified entities to implement a new Cooperative Agreement for the Philanthropy Awareness Activity from the following Balkan countries: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Kosovo, Romania, Serbia and Slovenia. See Section C of this Notification of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for eligibility information. The goal of the activity is to strengthen broad-based participation in community development and the purpose of the activity is to enhance the culture of local philanthropy in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The deadline for questions is April 6, 2021, 13:00, Sarajevo Time. Please ensure questions are concise and specific and make specific reference to page and section numbers. Responses to questions received prior to the deadline will be furnished to all potential applicants through an amendment to this NOFO posted to www.grants.gov. A pre-application conference is scheduled for April 9, 2021,10:00, Sarajevo Time. See section D.3 for additional information. The closing date for applications is May 14, 2021, 17:00, Sarajevo Time.
