Description

The intended outcome of this funding opportunity announcement is to advance efforts for a nationally integrated egg regulatory system by assisting state egg regulatory programs to achieve and maintain full conformance with the Egg Regulatory Program Standards (ERPS). The ERPS Cooperative Agreement will provide funding for state egg regulatory programs to:1. Advance conformance with the Standards (ERPS)2. Enhance the grantee's egg regulatory and public health program3. Share egg regulatory inspection, compliance and enforcement, and laboratory information and data between states and the FDA4. Better leveraging of state regulatory resources and directing regulatory activities at reducing egg-related illness, attributed to shell egg hazards in facilities that produce, process, pack, hold or transport shell egg and materials/supplies, including those facilities not subject to the Egg Rule.
