The purpose of this amendment is to make clarifying edits to the requirements of the Justice40 Initiative Plan, and make edits/updates to Appendix C. The Office of Manufacturing and Energy Supply Chains (MESC) and Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) are issuing a Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) No. DE-FOA-0002678 entitled Bipartisan Infrastructure Law - Battery Materials Processing and Battery Manufacturing Funding Opportunity Announcement.
