Description
The Air Force Research Laboratory Munitions Directorate, Contracting Division (AFRL/RWK) is soliciting proposals for University Day. University Day is only open to Universities. The purpose of this call is to solicit leading-edge research from new academic collaborators that currently do not have a relationship with AFRL/RW. However, the AFRL/RW will consider all proposals. Under this call AFRL/RW will fund short-term (approximately one academic year) seedlings projects in four research areas that will allow AFRL/RW Government researchers to assess the value and the partnering relationship feasibility, technical quality, and return on investment. It is anticipated that the Universities will submit their proposals and then virtually pitch their ideas (proposals). Also, it is AFRL/RW's intent to provide 'day of' awards from proposals submitted to reduce the timeline between award selection and funding. Proposal(s) submitted in response to this CALL that are selected for award are considered to be the results of full and open competition and in full compliance with the provisions of PL 98-369, the Competition in Contracting Act of 1984.
