Note: A full study proposal and proposed budget are NOT requested at this time.Project Title: Island Night Lizard for SCIBrief Description of Anticipated Work:Cooperator will be providing technical natural resource support to apply specialized monitoringprotocols for monitoring island night lizard population densities, ages, sex, body conditions inrelation to habitat conditions, species health correlation with regional weather and fireconditions. In addition, the cooperator will provide habitat mapping and GIS data to illustratehabitat conditions and species usage of each area.“See Attached Statement of Objectives”Period of Performance: Base period: 18 months from date of award – this will allow for 12 fullmonths of field and data collection activities and 6 months for data analysis and reportingefforts.Option periods: Four 18-month option periods anticipated with the first one starting 12 monthsthe beginning of the base period effort. This allows for continuous fieldwork (each 12 months)with overlapping periods of performance for analyses and reporting.
