EDA’s Office of Innovation & Entrepreneurship is committed to furthering tech-based economic development initiatives that accelerate high-skill and high-wage job growth, create economic opportunity, and support the future of the next generation of industry leading companies. Funding is available for organizations that aid companies in developing the next generation of technologies. Under the Build to Scale Program, EDA is soliciting applications for two competitions: 2023 Venture Challenge; and 2023 Capital Challenge. EDA is excited to announce the launch of its new grants management platform: the Economic Development Grants Experience (EDGE). EDGE was developed to streamline the application and grants management process by implementing a single platform with increased transparency, improved user experience, higher data quality, and more efficiency throughout the entire grant lifecycle. Starting April 6, 2023, applications will no longer be accepted on Grants.gov, and will ONLY be accepted through EDGE (sfgrants@eda.gov).
