Description
Summary of Amendment 01: The purpose of this amendment is to close this Research Announcement for all submissions on May 30, 2024, at 5:00 PM Eastern. DARPA anticipates releasing a new FLEX RA beginning in FY2025. Any proposal submitted prior to this deadline will be reviewed in accordance with the evaluation criteria contained herein. Any proposal submitted after the close date and time will not be reviewed. The Microsystems Technology Office at DARPA seeks fundamental research proposals for disruptive ideas in information and communication technologies (ICT) addressing the grand challenges for a data-driven future. Proposed research should investigate innovative approaches that enable revolutionary advances in science, devices, or systems. The goal of the Forward-Looking Experimentation (FLEX) program is to identify the direction and timing of key disruptive advances in ICT, accelerate technology exploration and generate intellectual property, develop next-generation researchers for the U.S. workforce, and build the foundation for future research programs.
