Award economics. The award range on file is $200,000 -- $2,000,000. Cost sharing is not required, so applicants do not need to commit matching funds to be competitive on this opportunity. Deadline and action path. This opportunity closed on December 14, 2023. Future funding cycles may be published under the same CFDA number, so monitoring the parent program page is the most reliable way to catch re-announcements. Every Grants.gov submission requires an active SAM.gov registration and a Unique Entity ID. Review the Eligibility section below carefully — federal eligibility categories (nonprofit, state or local government, tribal, individual, educational institution, small business) have distinct registration and reporting requirements. Description
The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of State and Community Energy Programs (SCEP) intends to issue a Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) entitled “Energy Auditor Training Program.” Through this FOA, SCEP intends to provide grants to support the training of energy auditors by paying the costs associated with energy auditor trainings and certifications, for the purpose of conducting energy audits, or surveys, of commercial and residential buildings.
