Слава Україні. /S/ Carter Saunders, CPA Contracting and Agreements Officer USAID/Ukraine QUESTION FOR PARTNER’S FEEDBACK: USAID’s private sector programming in Ukraine seeks increased exports, job creation, and sales of Ukrainian small and medium enterprises (SMEs) generally through three categories of intervention: co-investment grants to firms and financial institutions, firm-level technical assistance, and reform efforts in the business enabling environment. Beyond these: what other approaches could be effective for USAID to achieve its private sector development outcomes (increased exports, job creation, and sales) given the current situation and also the conditions in Ukraine after the war? In essence, what is USAID not doing that it should/could be? Of particular interest are approaches that engage local Ukrainian for-profit and non-profit organizations. Responses are limited to one page (single spaced, 12 point font, 1 inch margins). An additional cover-page is permitted but not required.
