With this solicitation, OJJDP seeks to fund states, local governments, territories or Indian tribes in partnership with interested persons (including Federal corrections and supervision agencies), service providers, and nonprofit organizations for the purpose of strategic planning and implementation of juvenile offender reentry projects to provide comprehensive reentry services before, during, and after release from confinement. This program furthers the Department’s mission by supporting state and local efforts to reduce recidivism and improve outcomes for youth returning to their communities after detention or out-of-home placement.
